Dr. Shashank Rai has over 8 years of clinical experience in General and Laparoscopic Surgery. He currently serves as an Associate Consultant in the Department of General Surgery at Sharda Care – Healthcity.

He began his medical journey at Thanjavur Medical College and further honed his surgical skills with advanced training at Tata Main Hospital, where he gained hands-on experience in both routine and complex surgical procedures. Dr. Rai has independently performed a wide range of surgeries including laparoscopic cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, gastrointestinal, anorectal, and urological surgeries.

He is also known for his academic contributions, including national conference presentations and securing 5th rank in a national surgical quiz, reflecting his strong clinical acumen and dedication to continuous learning.
