Dr. Kunal Kumar has over 6.5 years of post-MD experience in Psychiatry. He has currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the School of Medical Sciences and Research, Greater Noida, since 19th September 2009.

Previously, he served as a Senior Resident in the Department of Psychiatry at Safdarjang Hospital & Vardhman Mahaveer Medical College (VMMC), New Delhi, where he completed a three-year tenure of teaching senior residency ending on 14th April 2009.

He also worked as a postgraduate student at Patna Medical College for three years and completed one year of non-PG junior Residency in the Department of Psychiatry at the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS).

His responsibilities included managing General Psychiatry OPD independently, treating patients in Child Guidance and Psycho-Sexual Clinics, conducting counseling sessions, behavioral therapies, psychotherapies, career counseling, managing indoor patients, teaching final year MBBS students, and being a member of the Mental Disability Board.
